Op 17 juli brengt Interscope haar nieuwe album uit.

'Brightest Blue' is de titel van de eerste plaat van Ellie Goulding sinds 2015. Op elke kant van het album wordt een concept uitgewerkt.

De eerste "acknowledges a complex world where relationships still dictate our happiness and heartbreak and can still be the most painful thing in the world, no matter how enlightened you are," according to a press release. "The tracks also symbolize growing up and becoming a woman." De andere is de "brave and fearless" kant, waar ze wordt bijgestaan door blackbear, Lauv, Diplo, Swae Lee en wijlen Juice WRLD.
