Xiu Xiu nodigt Sharon Van Etten en veel meer uit

Jamie Stewart haalde er een heleboel schoon volk bij voor het twaalfde album van het duo.

Sharon Van Etten, Chelsea Wolfe, Alice Bag, Haley Fohr (Circuit des Yeux), Owen Pallett, Angus Andrew (Liars), Jonathan Meiburg (Shearwater), Deb Demure (Drab Majesty), Greg Saunier (Deerhoof) en George Lewis Jr. (Twin Shadow) mochten allemaal meedoen op 'OH NO', het nieuwe album van Xiu Xiu. En naar verluidt bleef het daar niet bij. 

"The guest stars of 'OH NO' reflect the types of people, and many of the very same, who helped remind me that the ratio of beautiful humans to shitty humans is more like sixty/fourty rather than what I have always assumed was one/ninety nine", legt Stewart uit. "Although there is an ‘I HATE PEOPLE’ pin on my guitar strap, I hate them less now."
